Il restauro, sinteticamente mostrato in queste pagine, trova esaustiva descrizione in un volume, che ho sentito il dovere di fare a corredo del documento costruito, per far luce su secoli di oblio che avevano condotto la chiesa allo stato di rudere ed il battistero alla falsa identità di oratorio cinquecentesco.

The written document serves the built document

The restoration, briefly summarised in these pages, is described exhaustively in a book. I have felt the need to write the book to support the history of the ‘built’ document and to shed light on the centuries of oblivion that had led the church to a state of ruin and the baptistery to its assumed identity as a sixteenth-century oratory.
