Dopo la scoperta del fonte battesimale ho personalmente eseguito un prelievo di materiale e fatto analizzare assieme ad altri campioni prelevati dalle murature durante il restauro.

Esito delle prove di Tl:

- V sec. per un mattone radiale della chiesa di Ia fase

- VI sec. per il prelievo dal fonte del battistero di IIa fase.

- XIII sec. per materiale recuperato da elementi di IVa fase

- XVI sec. per un mattone della cupola di Va fase.

 

After the discovery of the baptismal bath I have personally collected a sample of material and sent it for testing along with other samples taken from the walls during the restoration.

Results of tests Tl:

- V century for a radial brick of the first-stage church;

- VI century for the sample removed from the baptismal bath of the second-phase baptistery;

- XIII century for material recovered from fifth-stage elements;

- XVI century for a brick from the fifth-phase dome.
